Bop! for solo viola was written for my friend & gifted violist, Amaro Dubois. Much like Amaro's electric personality and charm, I wanted to craft a work that would suit his style.

It is a fun and fiery showpiece, displaying the range and beautiful tone of the viola throughout. I sought to write a groovy little work, one that my friends might call a "bop!"
